Start from the type of project you are running, not from the cheapest plan.
Beginners & small websites
A shared or business hosting plan is usually enough for a brochure site, portfolio or small WordPress build with modest traffic.
Growing websites
As traffic and content grow, look for more CPU/RAM headroom, caching, staging and a solid backup and restore process.
Developers
Check SSH access, Git deployment, Node.js or Python runtime support, environment variables, cron and log access before committing.
Advanced applications

- Either works. We usually confirm the technical requirements during discovery, then choose hosting before deployment so the stack matches the build.
- Can Webstroms handle deployment for me?
- Yes. Deployment is part of our development process, and we can also guide your team through it if you prefer to own the infrastructure.
- Do you earn a commission if I use a recommended provider?
- Sometimes. Where a provider runs an affiliate programme and you use an eligible link, Webstroms may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. It does not change what we recommend.
- Is shared hosting enough for a React or Node.js app?
- Often not. Application stacks usually need a runtime, process management and environment variables — check the plan supports them, or use VPS, cloud or a platform host.
